Oilon developed the new Geopro RE geothermal heat pump for heating large properties, public and industrial buildings, apartment buildings, terraced houses and domestic hot water.
Reform was developing and designing this new, market-leading geothermal heat pump. The managed product development process enabled the project to be completed within two months.
Design and mechanical design were combined into a seamless whole. We were developing a geothermal heat pump with optimized appearance, component placement, manufacturability, assembly, installation and serviceability.
The result is a new body structure that is easier to manufacture and improves assembly. Upholstery components are easy to remove when needed. Launched in autumn 2009, Geopro RE is well received.
